Privacy Policy

If you reach out to us

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and organization. We keep this information so we can have a conversation with you — and that's the only reason we keep it.

We will never use it to market to you. We will never sell it, trade it, or share it with anyone. It exists so we can write back.

How long we keep your information

It depends on what happens after you reach out.

If we work together, your information stays with us in the natural form that any professional relationship takes — email conversations, agreements, and the like. We keep those indefinitely, the same way you probably do.

If we stay in touch as colleagues or collaborators, same thing — we keep our conversations.

If we exchange a message or two and things don't go further, your information lives only in those email threads. We don't maintain a contact database. We don't add you to a list. When the conversation ends, that's where your information stays.

How we understand our site

We may use analytics tools like Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are visited, how long people spend, that kind of thing. This helps us make the site better.

We do not use this to track individual visitors. We do not tie any of this data to personally identifiable information. We do not share it with third parties for any purpose.

Legal Stuff

Your Rights

Whether you're in California, the European Union, or anywhere else — you have rights over the information you share with us.

You can ask us what information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it. You can ask us to delete it. We will respond promptly and without making it difficult.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly (see below). We don't need a form or a formal request — just tell us what you need.

We do not sell personal information. We never have. We never will. If you're a California resident, this is our explicit statement under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

For visitors from the European Union

We process your contact information on the basis of legitimate interest — you reached out to us, so it's reasonable for us to keep your details in order to respond.

We are the data controller for any personal information you share with us through this site. That means Hallpass and Friends is responsible for how your data is handled.

We retain contact information for as long as it takes to have the conversation you initiated, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you get back in touch. If you'd like us to delete your information at any time, just ask.

Cookies and analytics

If we use analytics tools on this site, they may set cookies in your browser to help us understand how the site is used. These cookies do not identify you personally.

If you are visiting from the European Union, we will ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

If you'd prefer to use a browser that blocks analytics tracking entirely, we completely understand.

Updates to this policy

If we change how we handle your information in any meaningful way, we'll update this page and note the date at the bottom. We won't bury important changes in fine print.
